Manager Finance Controller Job in Gangtok Responsibilities

The selected candidate for this Manager Finance Controller Job in Gangtok will be responsible for the following:

Budgeting and Financial Planning Responsibilities

Consolidation of all department-wise and function-wise expenses into one common platform
Review of workings of each expense head
Depreciation working with proper linkage of operational net block, capex, and CWIP with budgeted depreciation
Analysis of variance with respect to previous year’s actuals
Validation of cost reduction initiatives and converting them into measurable financial impact

Financial Reporting Responsibilities

Adherence to WP guidance issued from corporate
Ensure actual expenses reported monthly match quarterly TB at each plant
Adherence to timely closing of TB by 4th of next month
Preparation of actuals in Z2B format monthly
Item-wise detailing of account-head-wise expenses as per Z2B format

Plant Performance Monitoring Responsibilities

Performance reporting of the plant in terms of yields, usage, and cost per unit
Variance analysis with WP cost reduction initiatives progress
Analysis and review of plant EBT in Anaplan
Inputs for cost audit requirements
GL review

Capex and Cash Flow Responsibilities

Review of capex proposals and work on payback period
Tracking of capex installation
Preparation of capex reports and cash flow analysis

Inventory and Operations Finance Responsibilities

Monitoring slow and non-moving items
Rejections / OOS (Out of Specification) batches
WIP concerns and its ageing analysis
Proper tracking of timely closure of work orders
Overall stock ageing review

Corporate and SOP Support Responsibilities

Act as support function at plant level for Cluster Head regarding SOPs and corporate guidelines
Tracking cost reduction activities along with financial impact
