Dialysis Technician

Essential Qualification

  • 10+2 or its equivalent, and
  • Diploma in Dialysis Technology (minimum 2‑year duration) from a university/institution recognized by Central or State Government, and
  • Minimum 6 months relevant working experience.

Desirable Qualification

  • 10+2 or its equivalent, and
  • Degree in Dialysis Technology from a university/institution recognized by Central or State Government, with at least 6 months relevant working experience.

Monthly consolidated remuneration for Proficiency Trainees (Paramedics) – Critical Care Technician / Dialysis Technician is as follows:

  • Base stipend: ₹17,980 per month
  • Skill and knowledge enhancing allowance: up to ₹7,020 per month based on attendance
  • Maximum monthly remuneration: ₹25,000 (including maximum allowance)

Attendance‑Based Allowance Structure

  • 20 days or more of physical presence in a month: ₹260 per day of presence
  • 15 to 19 days of physical presence: ₹130 per day of presence
  • Less than 15 days of physical presence: No allowance is payable; only the basic stipend is paid

Maximum allowance per month is calculated as ₹260 × 27 days = ₹7,020.


SAIL IISCO Paramedics Working Hours and Leave Rules

  • Working hours: Minimum 8 hours per day for 6 days a week (48 hours per week).
  • If engagement is for less than 8 hours per day or 48 hours per week, remuneration will be proportionately reduced, and the monthly rate shall not exceed the maximum prescribed limit.

Leave and Holidays

  • 7 (seven) days leave in a year, subject to prior approval.
  • Closed Holidays (or compensatory off) on National Holidays.

SAIL IISCO Paramedics Job Profile

Proficiency Trainees (Paramedics) will:

  • Work in the respective departments of Medical & Health Services (M&HS) as may be required.
  • Attend on‑call and emergency cases as per hospital requirements.

Accommodation

  • Hostel facility can be provided to Proficiency Trainees (Paramedics) on payment basis, subject to availability.
  • No HRA will be payable.

Medical Facility

  • Medical benefits shall be available for self only at SAIL‑ISP Hospital, Burnpur, without any referrals.

The engagement of Proficiency Trainees (Paramedics):

  • Can be terminated by either party by giving one month’s notice.

It may be terminated by the company forthwith under the following circumstances:

  • Evidence of medical unfitness likely to continue for a considerable period of time, making the trainee unable to discharge normal duty (company’s decision on fitness is final and binding).
  • Poor performance.
  • Moral turpitude, conviction by a Court of Law, insolvency, loss of license to practice, grave misconduct, or financial irregularity.
