Job Overview
Axis Max Life Insurance is hiring Relationship Associates – Bancassurance to drive life insurance business through Axis Bank branches. The role focuses on branch relationship management, lead conversion, process adherence, customer follow-ups, and persistency management, while supporting Axis Bank’s bancassurance strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Branch & Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with Axis Bank branch sellers and FOS teams
- Engage with multiple levels of bank management to drive business
- Activate bank sellers and achieve branch activation targets
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Handle leads generated from Axis Bank branches and convert into quality business
- Ensure first customer contact and follow-ups within agreed TATs
- Achieve assigned business and revenue targets
Process & Operations Excellence
- Adhere strictly to company-defined sales and operational processes
- Coordinate regularly with Cluster Manager and Operations Hub
- Ensure minimal customer complaints and high service quality
Customer Retention & Persistency
- Track and maintain 15-month policy persistency
- Implement a strong customer follow-up mechanism
- Ensure customer satisfaction post-policy issuance
Training & Capability Building
- Coordinate with Cluster Training Manager
- Support regular training of bank staff on:
- Life insurance concepts
- New product launches
Systems & Reporting
- Ensure effective usage of LMS as a tracking mechanism
- Track online activities, follow-ups, and call closures
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong relationship management skills
- Ability to work with banking stakeholders at multiple levels
- Sales orientation with process discipline
- Customer-centric mindset
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in sales
- Prior experience in:
- Life Insurance sales
- Retail bank distribution
- Channel / DSA relationship management (preferred)
