Key Responsibilities
Audit & Process Compliance
- Plan and execute daily process audits to ensure adherence to SOPs
- Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA) across manufacturing operations
- Facilitate customer audits and third-party certification audits
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Identify process and system non-conformities
- Develop, implement, and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure timely and effective closure of audit findings
Statistical Process Control
- Monitor process variations through statistical process capability studies
- Review and analyze control charts to determine causes of variation
- Support MSA and statistical quality studies
Customer Complaint Reduction
- Monitor internal customer complaints
- Initiate quality improvement projects to reduce complaints
- Drive initiatives to improve internal customer satisfaction
Quality Analysis & Improvement Projects
- Plan and execute cut tyre analysis (PCR)
- Support scrap and rework reduction projects using quality tools and techniques
QMS & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain QMS documentation in line with Apollo Tyres Ltd and international standards
- Ensure proper implementation of quality systems and procedures
Training & Continuous Improvement
- Train teams on quality tools, audit techniques, and best practices
- Coordinate and support 5S and IMS activities across departments
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Tyre manufacturing process knowledge
- Equipment operation understanding
- Cut tyre analysis (PCR)
- Quality tools & techniques
- Audit methodologies
- Statistical process studies & MSA
Experience Required
- 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Process Auditing
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred (tyre / automotive highly desirable)
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech
