Job Summary

Murli Industries Ltd (Dalmia Group) is hiring an Area Sales Officer – Gadchiroli to drive sales growth, expand market share, and strengthen dealer, contractor, and customer relationships within the assigned territory. The role focuses on sales planning, territory management, customer engagement, CRM usage, and execution of local marketing initiatives to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and increase market share in the assigned district
  • Create and execute sales plans, strategies, and weekly territory plans
  • Build strong relationships with dealers, contractors, real estate partners, and end customers
  • Conduct site visits with Technical Support teams to drive trade and non-trade sales
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely grievance resolution
  • Identify new territories, generate leads, and pitch existing and upcoming products
  • Execute local marketing campaigns and BTL activities to improve product visibility
  • Monitor dealer-level BTL inventory and coordinate with Marketing teams
  • Utilize CRM tools for tracking performance, monitoring sales, and corrective actions
  • Track sales fluctuations and take preventive or corrective measures
  • Promote digitization, automation, and adoption of new selling technologies
  • Use business analytics to derive insights for sales planning and forecasting
  • Support self and team development through training and continuous learning

Skills & Qualifications

Education:

  • MBA / PGDM in Sales or Marketing
  • Graduate degree (minimum requirement)

Experience & Competencies:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and territory management skills
  • Experience in CRM usage, sales planning, and forecasting
  • Knowledge of sales channel management and product positioning
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and grievances effectively
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business analytics skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and goal orientation
  • Leadership mindset with focus on team and self-development
