Importance of Role
Junior Engineers and Junior Officers in MECON work at the core of major engineering and infrastructure projects for the Government and PSU clients. They support project planning, design review, supervision and coordination across mechanical, civil, electrical and administrative functions, ensuring that complex industrial and hydrocarbon projects are executed safely, on time and within budget.
Because MECON is a premier Miniratna Schedule “A” PSU under the Ministry of Steel, these roles offer a stable, long‑term career with exposure to large national projects such as refineries, pipelines, petrochemical plants, industrial buildings and infrastructure facilities. In addition to technical work, these positions play a key part in maintaining quality, compliance and documentation standards demanded in PSU environments.
Who Should Apply
You should consider applying for this recruitment if:
- You have a Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 16 years of relevant post‑qualification experience in design, construction, supervision or project management.
- You hold a BBA or any Graduation degree (for HR/Admin roles) with a minimum of 16 years’ experience in HR, administration or related functional domains in industry or PSU settings.
- You are comfortable working on project sites and office locations anywhere in India, including remote or industrial regions.
- You are looking for a PSU role that offers a structured pay scale, social security benefits, medical facilities and long‑term stability rather than short‑term contracts.
