📌 Job Overview

A reputed organization is hiring a Team Member – Horticulture to manage irrigation systems, green belt development, and horticulture operations in Ahmedabad.
The role focuses on project execution, irrigation design, system maintenance, SAP documentation, and ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance across horticulture activities.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute and commission new horticulture and irrigation projects, including expansions
• Prepare scope documents, operation philosophy, and network/communication architecture
• Compare vendor offers, conduct technical evaluations, and review technical documents
• Carry out FAT and SAT activities for irrigation and automation systems
• Manage O&M health and spare parts for motor pumping systems, water fountains, and automation modules
• Design drip and sprinkler irrigation systems for landscape and green belt projects
• Maintain records of irrigation materials and manage distribution to end users
• Forecast future material requirements and maintain optimum stock levels
• Raise indents for new fittings and irrigation components as per project needs
• Recommend system improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Perform SAP documentation (PM & MM modules)
• Establish safe work practices and ensure EHS compliance during execution
• Maintain and upgrade irrigation systems for smooth and effective operations
• Ensure compliance with Safety Management System requirements and ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001)

Secondary Responsibilities

• Complete assigned projects within defined timelines
• Maintain green development areas with a survival rate above 92%
• Prepare landscape, irrigation, and green cover drawings at site level
• Conduct plant quality checks before implementation
• Ensure safety, dignity, and welfare of labour
• Prepare and submit regular MIS and reports to RM/HOD
• Handle indenting and billing of materials and services

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Horticulture or
• B.E. in Agricultural Engineering

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in horticulture, irrigation systems, or landscape project management
