Lodha Developers Ltd is hiring a Sub Category Manager – Procurement to strengthen its Central Procurement team at the Corporate Office in Mumbai. This role is responsible for driving efficient procurement operations, vendor negotiations, rate contracts, and ensuring seamless coordination between design, site, and accounts teams.

The position plays a critical role in managing material specifications, vendor empanelment, cost optimization, and timely purchase order issuance across projects.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

The Sub Category Manager will be responsible for intensive coordination with Design teams and vendors during material selection and inquiry floating to ensure clarity in specifications and eliminate ambiguity in vendor quotations. The role involves negotiating with vendors to achieve costs within budget and preparing annual rate contracts for recurring requirements. The incumbent will float inquiries considering group-wide requirements, total project quantities, and future projections to secure optimal commercial terms.

The role also includes empanelment of new competent vendors for key common area finishing works, resolving delivery-related issues, coordinating with site and accounts teams to address documentation discrepancies, and ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders. The candidate will be expected to maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and budget targets.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• BE / B.Tech (Mandatory)
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Contracts & Procurement Management
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience in rate contracts, inquiry floating, and cost optimization
• Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with design, site, and finance teams
