Job Description – Sr. Quantity Surveyor (SMP)

NBTC Group, a leading EPC and industrial engineering firm in Kuwait, is hiring Sr. Quantity Surveyors – SMP for oil & gas and EPC projects.

The role focuses on measurement, cost control, and quantity surveying for structural steel, piping, and mechanical equipment installation. Candidates with experience in mega-projects for ADNOC, ARAMCO, or EPC clients are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity surveying for SMP scope in Oil & Gas / EPC projects
• Measure structural steel, piping, mechanical equipment, and related installations
• Prepare cost estimates, progress reports, and billing documentation
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with project budgets
• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and client representatives
• Identify and resolve quantity-related discrepancies or issues
• Support project audits, claims, and variation calculations

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying

Experience

• 10–15 years as a Quantity Surveyor in SMP scope within Oil & Gas / EPC construction
• Prior experience with ADNOC, ARAMCO, or EPC mega-projects highly preferred

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in measurement of structural steel, piping, and mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of cost control, billing, and project documentation
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas EPC project workflows
