Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Lead end-to-end project execution including engineering design, DCS application development, commissioning, and stabilization within timelines and cost targets.
• Prepare and review BEP/DEP packages and participate in HAZOP and safety analyses.

Automation & Control Systems

• Define DCS architecture, program control logic, and ensure HMI/data logging alignment with process safety requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to validate control systems through testing and functional checks.

Process Safety & Compliance

• Implement and monitor Process Safety Management (PSM) procedures including MOC, PHA, and shutdown system validation.
• Achieve zero non-conformities in sustainability, IMS, and ISO audits.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive digitization initiatives, waste minimization, and operational excellence practices.
• Promote sustainability improvements and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical Leadership: Experience in complex engineering projects, DCS/automation systems, and commissioning.
• Process Safety Management: Strong understanding of PSM, HAZOP, PSSR, and safety protocols.
• Digital & Control Systems: Hands-on knowledge of control logic programming, hardware interfaces, and industrial automation.
• Project Coordination: Ability to work with cross-functional teams (operations, safety, engineering) for smooth execution.
• Communication: Effective reporting, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline (preferred).
• Experience: Significant experience in engineering execution, process automation, and project management within the chemicals or process industries.
