🌟 About the Role

Sun Pharma is hiring a Manager – EM Demand & Distribution Planner to drive forecasting, demand planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes for global supply operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Strategic

• Provide long-term forecasts for budgeting & capacity planning.
• Support CTS initiatives and conduct market analysis.
• Update FG inventory norms and align with leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing/Distribution teams to enhance customer service.
• Coordinate with Global Supply Planning for long-range planning.

Operational

• Build forecasts using sales data & market intelligence.
• Develop consensus forecasts with Sales/Marketing and upload to system.
• Maintain clean and accurate master data.
• Review production plans and propose adjustments.
• Represent portfolio in pre-S&OP and S&OP meetings.
• Monitor FG inventory across the pipeline and liquidate slow movers.
• Track dispatches and recommend transport mode changes.
• Contribute to new product launch planning (IMPULSE).
• Deliver KPIs: OTIF, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Days, Write-offs.

📘 Requirements

Education

MBA/MS in Operations OR BE OR B.Pharm/M.Pharm

Experience

5–8 years total, with 3–4 years in demand planning/inventory management.
