Job Description – Lead Logistics (RIL)

Reliance Industries Limited is hiring an experienced Lead Logistics professional to manage end-to-end import logistics and EXIM operations for its onshore and offshore assets in Dhenkanal, Odisha. The role involves independent handling of import shipments, coordination with global suppliers, customs clearance, and compliance with trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage import logistics and EXIM operations for onshore and offshore projects
• Handle customs clearance, freight forwarding, and shipment delivery
• Develop and implement import strategies aligned with business goals
• Coordinate with CHAs, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and vendors
• Negotiate commercial and delivery terms with international suppliers
• Ensure compliance with customs laws, trade regulations, and documentation
• Monitor logistics performance, costs, and timelines
• Identify risks and implement cost-saving measures
• Prepare reports and support audits related to import operations
• Lead and guide logistics teams to ensure operational efficiency

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree or MBA
• Logistics, Supply Chain, or Customs-related certifications preferred

Experience

• 12 to 15 years of experience in import/export (EXIM) operations
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or related industries preferred

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of customs laws and trade compliance
• Experience in import/export logistics operations
• Familiarity with SAP / M3 systems
• Understanding of INCO terms and Letters of Credit (LC)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities
