💼 About the Role
Nokia is hiring an IT SOX Compliance Manager to join its Group Security team. This role is responsible for assessing and mitigating IT SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance risks, maintaining strong control frameworks, coordinating audits, and driving remediation activities.
This is a strategic opportunity to influence enterprise-level compliance initiatives and strengthen IT governance in a dynamic, global environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
📌 SOX Governance & Risk Management
- Establish and govern SOX program compliance with IT SOX requirements
- Conduct IT risk assessments for newly scoped applications
- Ensure SOX readiness and strong internal control environments
📊 Audit & Compliance Oversight
- Plan and oversee internal and external IT SOX audits
- Coordinate effectively with auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes
- Manage the full lifecycle of deficiency reporting
🔄 Remediation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive remediation efforts and track resolution of control gaps
- Perform impact assessments of IT SOX controls for transformation initiatives
- Identify and implement improvements within the control framework
🤝 Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across IT, Security, and Finance
- Provide regular updates and alignment on SOX compliance topics
🛠 Required Skills & Experience
✅ Must-Have
- 8+ years of experience in IT SOX audits/compliance and IT governance
- Strong understanding of IT SOX requirements and control frameworks
- Proven ability to assess application and infrastructure technology risks
- Experience coordinating audits with internal and external auditors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and organizational tools
⭐ Nice-to-Have
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Knowledge of cloud security controls and IAM
- Advanced degree in cybersecurity, information assurance, or related field
- Certifications such as CISA or CISSP
- Familiarity with change management and access management processes
