Job Purpose

The Executive – Utility will be responsible for shift-wise operation and maintenance of Power Plant and Utility Equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and efficient energy utilization within plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical load of the entire plant and analyze area-wise power consumption.
• Monitor Grid Maximum Demand and optimize energy usage.
• Execute preventive maintenance (PM) of power plant and utility equipment.
• Monitor GAIL steam flow, pressure, and temperature parameters.
• Monitor RLNG gas consumption and ensure utilization within gas quota limits.
• Identify and correct abnormalities in VCBs, ACBs, and protection relays.
• Operate and maintain VCBs, ACBs, MCCBs, and related electrical systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety guidelines during job execution.
• Prepare and circulate shift and daily operational reports.
• Maintain records of maintenance, breakdowns, energy generation, and consumption.
• Execute activities as per ISO 50001:2018, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 guidelines.

• AC/DC Motors & Drives, Air Compressors
• VCB, GCB, ACB, MCCB, MCB, RCBO Breakers
• Electrical Power & Control Drawings
• Power & Distribution Transformers
• Automation systems (PLC, SCADA)
• Software proficiency: MS Office, SAP
• Load Management Systems
• Emergency response processes, PPE usage, LOTO procedures, Permit to Work
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
• Technical knowledge of Power Plant equipment
