Job Overview

NBTC Group is hiring Engineer QA/QC – Piping professionals for its projects in Kuwait. The role focuses on ensuring quality compliance across piping works in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and EPC projects, covering fabrication, welding, installation, testing, and documentation in line with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for piping construction activities
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Conduct inspections related to:
  • Piping fabrication and installation
  • Welding activities
  • Hydrostatic and pressure testing
• Review and verify NDT results including RT, UT, PT, and MT
• Ensure adherence to piping codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ISO
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, inspectors, and contractors to resolve quality issues
• Support corrective and preventive actions to improve overall quality performance
• Utilize QA/QC systems and reporting tools to track inspections and compliance

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Piping Engineering from a recognized institution

Experience

• 5 – 8 years of relevant QA/QC experience in piping works
• Preferred experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards:
  • ASME B31.3
  • ASME B31.1
  • ISO
  • API
• Experience with NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT)
• Knowledge of hydrostatic and pressure testing procedures
• Familiarity with piping materials, welding processes, and installation practices
• Ability to interpret drawings, isometrics, and specifications
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Experience with QA/QC documentation and reporting systems
