The role involves ensuring the mechanical integrity and availability of production assets by performing routine maintenance, supervising activities, managing shutdown jobs, and supporting improvement initiatives.

🔧 Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical maintenance tasks with quality and adherence to schedules
• Supervise mechanical maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and compliance with plans
• Mobilize and manage resources for day-to-day mechanical operations
• Ensure implementation of procedures and best practices in maintenance activities
• Assist discipline managers in identifying spares for procurement
• Prepare mechanical maintenance budgets and analyze cost variances
• Conduct troubleshooting and participate in reliability and integrity studies
• Maintain and validate maintenance records in SAP-PM and SAP-MM systems
• Support minor project activities and preservation tasks
• Supervise and coordinate shutdown jobs as per schedule
• Prepare maintenance KPIs and ensure equipment availability improvement
• Ensure compliance with mandatory training and HSE requirements

🎓 Educational Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering

Experience

• At least 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience for degree holders or 7 years for diploma holders, preferably in a plant environment

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance principles
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze mechanical failures
• Familiarity with SAP-PM and SAP-MM data entry and maintenance tracking
• Understanding of reliability and integrity study processes
• Good communication and teamwork skills
