Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is hiring an Engineer Maintenance Instrumentation – JMD SEZ PX4 to support instrumentation maintenance activities at its Jamnagar facility. The role involves executing preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation systems, supporting shutdown planning, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Execute instrumentation maintenance tasks of DCS, PLC, analysers and field instrumentation with quality.
• Review maintenance activities and prioritize critical jobs.
• Carry out scheduled and chance-based maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct regular troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Facilitate and support minor projects.
• Maintain HSEF compliance including mandatory trainings.
• Assist the Manager in spares inventory management and issuing spares for job execution.
• Assist Manager in procurement and coordination with purchase and stores.
• Assist Manager in shutdown planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Carry out risk assessments and adhere to safety norms in routine and shutdown jobs.
• Prepare audit-related documents.
• Participate in reliability and integrity studies.
• Conduct obsolescence management.
• Collate data for performance monitoring and reporting.
• Execute PM/PdM schedules and LLF visits to identify potential failures.
• Maintain history/records and prepare weekly maintenance KPIs.
• Maintain IMS documentation for instrumentation maintenance.
• Provide technical guidance and training to subordinates.

🎓 Educational Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering.

Experience

• 2 years of relevant experience required.

• Analytical ability and proactive problem solving.
• Self-initiative and good interpersonal skills.
• Domain knowledge of instrumentation engineering.
• Good understanding of applicable codes and standards.
• Relevant industrial experience and strong communication skills.
