Job Description

Reliance Industries Limited is hiring a Division Head – Battery Supply Chain Management (SCM) (82507698) to lead strategic planning, operations, and execution within its New Energy business. This senior leadership role focuses on scaling battery supply chains, improving operational efficiency, and driving long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Battery Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations within the New Energy domain.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with Reliance’s renewable and battery energy goals.
• Drive vendor management, procurement strategy, sourcing, and logistics optimization for battery materials.
• Identify new business development opportunities in battery manufacturing and energy storage solutions.
• Oversee supply chain planning, inventory management, cost optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and operational excellence.
• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing leadership teams across supply chain and operations.
• Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and governance frameworks to track supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in battery and energy operations.
• Strengthen stakeholder relationships with internal teams, partners, and suppliers.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E / B.Tech)
• MBA from a reputed or Tier-1 institute (Preferred)

Experience Required

• 18 to 20 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, battery, energy, manufacturing, or related sectors
• Proven leadership experience in large-scale operations or industrial projects
