Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute vehicle model building for two-wheeler and three-wheeler projects from armature to finished model within planned timelines.
• Create and deliver fully finished physical models for internal presentations and design reviews.
• Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Testing, and Proto-shop teams to troubleshoot model issues while maintaining design intent.
• Mentor and guide junior modellers in clay and other model-making processes.
• Apply strong design sense and aesthetics in physical modelling across various materials such as automotive clay, UREOL, Styrofoam, FRP, RPT, etc.
• Utilize knowledge of clay milling and white-light scanning equipment for prototyping activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Qualification:
  • B.Des / M.Des or MA in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Automotive Design
• Experience:
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in automotive clay modelling and physical model building, preferably within OEMs
• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on expertise with automotive clay sculpting and physical model materials
  • Excellent sense of vehicle design and aesthetics
  • Experience managing model-making processes and studio teams
  • Knowledge of clay milling and 3D scanning techniques
  • (Preferred) Basic familiarity with PLM tools like Teamcenter and CAD systems like Unigraphics
