👨‍🍳 About the Role

Noverra Hospitality Private Limited is hiring an experienced Chef for its Hospitality & Property Management division in Worli. This central support role will oversee kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and lead kitchen staff to deliver premium dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong culinary expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in high-volume hotel or restaurant kitchens.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

🍽 Menu Planning & Development

  • Assist in menu design and updates with seasonal ingredients and current food trends
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef / Regional Chef for innovative offerings

👨‍🍳 Kitchen Operations & Team Management

  • Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff
  • Delegate tasks to ensure efficient kitchen workflow
  • Maintain smooth day-to-day kitchen operations

✅ Quality Control

  • Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and plating
  • Meet restaurant and customer expectations

📦 Inventory & Vendor Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies
  • Maintain vendor relationships
  • Ensure stock availability while controlling costs

🧼 Hygiene & Safety Compliance

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP norms
  • Monitor proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment

🍲 Food Preparation & Service

  • Participate in cooking and preparation activities
  • Address special dietary requirements and guest feedback
  • Maintain efficiency during peak hours

💰 Financial Support

  • Assist in budgeting and cost control
  • Minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as Chef de Partie or similar role
  • B.H.M. (Bachelor in Hotel Management) required
  • HACCP knowledge preferred
  • Experience in high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchens
