Key Responsibilities

As an Engineer Maintenance – PFY Automation, the selected candidate will work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure safe and reliable plant operations. Major responsibilities include:

• Executing electrical maintenance tasks with a strong focus on quality and adherence to standards.
• Reviewing ongoing maintenance activities and prioritising critical jobs based on plant requirements.
• Carrying out scheduled (planned) as well as chance‑based (breakdown/opportunity) maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with QMS, EMS and other current procedures, standards and best practices.
• Conducting regular troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimise downtime and recurring failures.
• Supporting and facilitating minor projects related to electrical and automation systems.
• Ensuring HSEF compliance, including RESOP, MIQA, CFA and DOSHE‑related mandatory trainings.
• Analysing electrical maintenance costs and assisting in budgeting.
• Assisting the Manager in spares inventory management, maintaining stock levels and issuing spares for job execution.
• Supporting procurement activities and coordinating with vendors, purchase and stores.
• Assisting the Manager in shutdown planning, budgeting and execution activities.
• Performing risk assessments and strictly following safety norms during both routine and shutdown jobs.
• Preparing audit‑related documents and submitting required data to the Manager.
• Participating in Reliability & Integrity studies approved for the unit.
• Collating data for performance monitoring, KPI tracking and periodic reporting.
• Implementing recommendations arising from audits, studies and improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining proper history and records of electrical maintenance activities.
• Preparing weekly maintenance KPIs for Electrical Maintenance.
• Maintaining IMS documents related to electrical maintenance.
• Providing technical guidance and on‑the‑job training to subordinates.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors’ Degree in any of the following:
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Instrumentation Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant industrial experience in maintenance, automation or related fields.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should possess:
