Purpose of the Role
To ensure 100% SLA adherence for internal and external customers by managing finished goods receipt, storage, inventory accuracy, and dispatch operations while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Finished Goods Operations
- Handle receipt of PCR & TBR tyres as per plan
- Ensure 100% adherence to dispatch schedules based on customer requirements
- Coordinate with HO planners for dispatch planning
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Maintain FGS inventory accuracy through perpetual inventory checks
- Control storage, stock movement, and warehouse utilization
- Ensure zero customer complaints related to finished goods
Logistics & Coordination
- Manage logistics operations including transporters and HO coordination
- Coordinate with export team for dispatches
- Liaise with purchase team for brought-out goods
Compliance, Safety & Quality
- Ensure 100% safety compliance and statutory adherence
- Support internal & external audits
- Coordinate with Quality team for audits and BO clearance
- Maintain 5S & housekeeping standards
Systems & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to SAP, WMS / EWM, TMS / ATOM systems
- Prepare MIS reports for management review
People Management
- Manage approx. 200 3PL manpower
- Ensure productivity, discipline, and compliance
Key Skills & Competencies
- SAP, WMS / EWM, TMS / ATOM expertise
- Finished goods warehouse & logistics management
- Strong understanding of GST & statutory requirements
- Customer SLA & service orientation
- Inventory control & stock accuracy
- Budgeting & manpower management
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Experience Required
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in finished goods, warehouse, or logistics operations
Educational Qualification
- Degree / Diploma in relevant discipline
- MBA in Supply Chain Management / Operations Management (preferred)
