📌 Job Overview
IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring an experienced Sr. API Developer to work closely with Technology Delivery Managers, Business Units, Enterprise / Solution Architects, and vendor partners.
The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining API-based integrations across on-premise and cloud systems to support mission-critical banking platforms.
🔧 Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows across systems
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain API and integration solutions
- Hands-on programming using relevant languages, tools, and frameworks
- Review code written by other developers and ensure best coding practices
- Strong understanding of APIs, MuleSoft, and microservices architecture
- Develop and deploy native code for customer-facing digital platforms
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear solutions for stakeholders
- Apply integration design patterns to build scalable middleware systems
- Work with web services interoperability standards in multi-vendor environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely bug fixes
- Prepare technical documentation and support implementation activities
🎓 Educational Qualifications
Graduation:
- B.Sc / B.Tech / BCA
Post-Graduation (Preferred):
- M.Sc / M.Tech / MCA
