Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is hiring an Engineer – Maintenance (Mechanical) for its JMD SEZ RTF facility in Jamnagar. The role involves execution and supervision of mechanical maintenance activities, shutdown planning, contractor coordination, and ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency in plant operations.

This opportunity is ideal for mechanical professionals with hands-on plant maintenance experience in large manufacturing or process industries.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise mechanical maintenance activities as per defined procedures
• Plan and mobilize resources for routine and shutdown maintenance
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and engineering standards
• Support spare parts identification, planning, and procurement
• Analyze maintenance costs and assist in budget preparation
• Prepare maintenance records, audit documents, and reports
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting
• Manage contractors and support minor mechanical projects
• Maintain equipment and maintenance data in SAP PM / SAP MM
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance practices

🎓 Education Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering

⏳ Experience Required

• Degree holders: Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Diploma holders: Minimum 7 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Experience in plant / refinery / large manufacturing setups preferred
