  • Tenure: Initially 6 months, extendable up to a total of 18 months depending on performance and availability of posts.
  • Appointment is purely on tenure basis; it does not confer any right for permanent absorption in AIIMS Deoghar.
  • Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • The Junior Resident may be required to work in shifts and can be posted in any department/section of the institute as per the discretion of the MS/Dean/Executive Director.

If a candidate resigns or leaves before completion of tenure, he/she must give one month’s prior notice or deposit pay and allowances in lieu of the shortfall period as per rules.
