Experience (post basic qualification):

Job Profile and Key Responsibilities

Assistant Vice President (IS Audit)

  • Conduct IS, Cyber Security, Continuous and IT Outsourced Activity audits as part of IS Audit team.
  • Prepare/update technical checklists for network devices, servers and operating systems.
  • Verify compliance with SBI’s IS/IT/Cyber Security policies, RBI and other regulatory guidelines and best practices.
  • Lead audit teams, detect vulnerabilities and recommend remedial controls.
  • Ensure timely conduct of planned/unplanned audits, follow‑up for evidence‑based compliance, close reports and submit periodical statements to higher authorities.

Deputy Manager (IS Audit)

  • Conduct IS, Cyber Security, concurrent and continuous audits and IT Outsourced Activity audits.
  • Check compliance with Bank policies, RBI Master Directions on IT Governance and Digital Payment Security Controls and other guidelines.
  • Compile synopses of IS audit reports, follow up with auditee units for compliance and ensure timely closure.
  • Prepare value statements based on IS/IT/Cyber Security policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support knowledge‑sharing and technology skill upgrades within IS Audit team.

Deputy Manager (CA – Internal Audit)

  • Conduct credit audits (onsite/offsite or RFIA) of branches in India and abroad, with emphasis on corporate credit intensive branches.
  • Audit special outfits like GMU Kolkata, Global Payment Services (GPS) and key corporate departments (Global Markets, Risk Management, FRT etc.).
  • Perform vendor audits of non‑IT outsourced activities and analyse related risk profiles.
  • Conduct FEMA audits, thematic audits, veracity checks of LFAR observations and testing of IFCoFR.
  • Assist in reviewing audit policies, manuals and plans and in improving internal controls and risk‑mitigation processes.

Salary, CTC and Benefits

Assistant Vice President (IS Audit) – Contractual

  • Annual CTC: Up to Rs. 50.00 lakhs; negotiable based on experience, present CTC and posting location.
  • CTC structure: 85% fixed pay and 15% variable pay.
  • Variable pay:
    • Assessed half‑yearly (as on 31 March and 30 September).
    • Payable only if performance appraisal score is at least 90.
    • Percentage of variable pay increases with higher performance bands; no variable pay below score 90.
  • Annual increment (from 2nd year onwards):
    • Around 7–10% of previous year’s fixed gross, subject to minimum score of 90 in appraisal.
  • Leave:
    • 30 days per financial year; intervening Sundays/holidays are not counted.
    • Other terms as per rules for contractual officers.
  • Notice period / termination:
    • 3 months’ notice from either side or 3 months’ compensation in lieu.
