✈️ Job Title: B737 Type Rated and Non Type Rated Captains (PIC)
🎯 Role Overview
Air India Express invites applications from experienced B737 Type Rated Captains (PIC) and Non Type Rated Captains (PIC). Successful candidates will operate commercial flights, maintain compliance with aviation regulations, and ensure high standards of safety and operational efficiency.
📌 Eligibility Criteria
Type Rated P1s
- Experienced Type Rated P1s with valid B737 PIC endorsement
- Minimum 100 PIC hours on B737 family aircraft
- Maximum age limit: 62 years
Non-Type Rated P1s
- Captain with minimum 500 hours on commercial jets OR
- Captain with total flying experience of 3000 hours, airline experience of 1000 hours on turboprops, and minimum 500 hours as PIC with a scheduled operator OR
- Captain with total flying experience of 3000 hours, airline experience of 1000 hours on turboprops, and minimum 1500 hours as PIC on non-scheduled operator aircraft with AUW >15 tons OR
- Captain with minimum 500 hours on military jets >70 tons (IL-76, C-17, B777, P8)
- Maximum age limit: 60 years
📋 Requirements
- Indian Nationals only
- Valid ATPL with current/valid IR & Pilot’s Proficiency Check, FRTOL, COP/RTR
- Valid Class I Medical Fitness Certificate
- ICAO Aviation English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above endorsed on Indian ATPL
- Certificate of incident/accident-free record, including breath analyzer and details of enforcement actions by DGCA in the preceding 3 years
- Preference for candidates available to join immediately
- Mandatory eGCA-id with all licenses and documents validated
🧭 Stages of Selection
- Psychometric Assessment
- Personal Interview
- Simulator Flight Proficiency Test (location will be intimated by the company)
- Pre-Employment Medical Examination
