Job Overview
Mahindra HZPC Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Executive – Minituber Production to manage and optimize minituber production operations at its Daulatpur facility. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality seed production, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving innovation in protected cultivation systems.
The position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of agricultural science and operational excellence, contributing directly to seed quality and productivity improvements.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior Executive – Minituber Production, you will manage daily production activities within approved budgets while ensuring optimal resource utilization. You will oversee compliance with product and process quality standards to maintain excellence in seed production.
Your responsibilities include supervising labor productivity, providing on-site training, motivating the workforce, and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to support management decision-making.
The role also involves promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with agricultural safety standards, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving production outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc) or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, or related fields
- 2–5 years of experience in field or greenhouse production
- Experience in seed production, protected cultivation, or floriculture preferred
- Strong knowledge of seed production systems and advanced agronomic practices
