IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring Associate Relationship Officers (ARO) in its Rural/Retail Banking business across multiple locations in India. The role focuses on field‑based customer acquisition, rural relationship management, and driving loan and liability business for the assigned branch and catchment area. Job Id P-186350.
Key responsibilities
- Identify rural households, small businesses, and micro‑entrepreneurs in the allocated villages and assess their loan and banking needs.
- Generate new business through village‑level zoning, field visits, lead generation, referrals, and local campaigns.
- Promote rural banking products such as business loans, group loans, savings and current accounts, and cross‑sell suitable products based on customer profile.
- Conduct end‑use checks post disbursal, follow up for repayments, and maintain high collection efficiency and portfolio quality.
- Ensure accurate documentation, coordinate with operations for timely data entry, and comply with all IDFC FIRST Bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Encourage customers to adopt digital and online banking channels for routine transactions.
Educational qualification and experience

Educational qualifications:
- Minimum: 12th pass (any stream).
- Preferred: Graduate in any discipline; post‑graduation is optional.

Experience requirements:
- 0–1 years of relevant branch or field‑sales banking experience; freshers are encouraged to apply.
