Job Overview
Sun Pharma is hiring a Product Manager / Group Product Manager (Biosimilar) for its India Business division in Mumbai. This role focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies for biosimilar products, driving business growth, and collaborating with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
The position requires strong strategic thinking, science-driven marketing capabilities, and experience in managing biosimilar portfolios within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
As a Product Manager / Group Product Manager (Biosimilar), you will develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies aligned with patient and prescriber needs. You will monitor business performance through regular tracking and analytics, conduct market intelligence via primary research and customer interactions, and collaborate with key opinion leaders, advisory boards, and prescribers to drive product positioning.
You will be responsible for preparing and managing marketing budgets, including promotional campaigns, conferences, symposia, literature, digital content, and sales materials. The role involves coordinating marketing projects, training field force teams, delivering product presentations, and representing the organization at national and international congresses.
You will translate corporate brand strategies into local execution plans, collaborate with headquarters on communication strategies, manage corporate product budgets, and provide inputs into overall product strategy. Additionally, you will engage with healthcare professionals, formulary committees, and insurance stakeholders to support product adoption, while ensuring collaboration with internal and external media for effective campaign execution.
Educational Qualification
- M.Pharm or PharmaD
- Candidates interested in Pharma Marketing roles
Experience Required
- 4–8 years of experience in Pharma Marketing
- Experience in managing Biosimilar products (preferred)
- Proven track record of successful product launches
