Job Overview
As a Technical Associate – Senior Paper Cup & Tub Machine Operator, you will be responsible for independently operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed paper cup, tub, and lid forming machines at the Nadiad facility. This hands-on manufacturing role focuses on achieving production targets with high quality, performing size changeovers, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring availability of critical spares.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will operate paper cup, tub, and lid forming machines independently, performing complete changeovers for different products such as cups (350 ml to 550 ml), tubs (550 ml to 1 L, 65 oz, 85 oz), and lids. You will monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues such as seal leaks, alignment problems, and quality deviations to maintain smooth production flow. You will also manage and maintain critical tooling and spares, assist with basic preventive maintenance tasks, ensure production quality standards are met, and collaborate with the shop-floor team to support productivity and output goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience operating manufacturing or packaging machines (especially paper cup/tub machines) with changeover and troubleshooting expertise.
- Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of paper cup/tub forming machinery.
- Hands-on ability to perform setup, changeovers, and minor maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with team members effectively.
- Good understanding of quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
