About the Role
The Manager – Projects will oversee large-scale engineering and network implementation projects in Udupi, ensuring timely delivery, strict budget adherence, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role combines project execution, contractor management, and team development, making it central to organizational growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
As Manager – Projects, you will lead the full lifecycle of project implementation, which accounts for 70% of your responsibilities. You will ensure timely completion of projects according to the business plan, prepare monthly operational plans, and supervise resources efficiently. The role includes developing survey reports, route maps, and alignment of upcoming grids to refine network planning, conducting technical evaluation of sites, coordinating with Engineering, O&M, AI, and HSE teams, and overseeing the construction of mother stations, online stations, daughter booster stations, and daughter stations.
Additionally, the role involves contractor monitoring (30% weightage). You will ensure all contracts are in place, preside over regular project progress review meetings, monitor budget and progress, and enforce compliance with HSE standards and legislation. You will also drive team capability development through training, mentoring, and performance management to maintain high engagement and ensure achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil)
- Experience: 10–12 years in project management, engineering, or network implementation
