๐ผ Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain autonomy modules integrating sensing, perception, mapping, and planning for real-time embedded systems.
- Develop computer vision pipelines (classical + AI-based) for detection, segmentation, tracking, and scene understanding.
- Build multimodal perception systems fusing camera, LiDAR, radar, and IMU data.
- Deploy, optimize, and maintain autonomy software on embedded platforms (Jetson AGX/Orin) with CUDA, TensorRT, and cross-compilation optimizations.
- Handle sensor bring-up, calibration, and synchronization, ensuring accurate data for downstream modules.
- Conduct field trials, capture datasets, analyze performance, and implement iterative improvements.
- Debug complex issues in deep autonomy stacks, including hardware-software integration, timing mismatches, and concurrency conflicts.
- Build deployment-ready systems using ROS/ROS2, Docker, and reproducible build pipelines.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and systems teams to align software with hardware constraints.
๐ ๏ธ Required Technical Skills
- Strong C++ (14/17/20) and Python programming for robotics and CV systems.
- Expertise in computer vision fundamentals (feature-based vision, geometric methods, multi-view geometry) and AI-based perception using PyTorch.
- Experience deploying and optimizing perception models on embedded GPU platforms (Jetson Xavier/Orin).
- Hands-on with Triton, TensorRT, CUDA, Numba-JIT, and real-time optimization.
- Proficiency with ROS/ROS2, TF transforms, middleware integration, and sensor fusion.
- Extensive experience with camera, LiDAR, radar, IMU, GPS sensor integration, calibration, and synchronization.
- Knowledge of autonomy concepts: mapping, obstacle detection, costmap generation, planner interfacing.
- Linux systems, multithreading, memory optimization, real-time debugging workflows.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Gazebo, CARLA, Isaac Sim, and automated validation tools.
