Job Description

L&T is hiring a CMPC Engineer specializing in steel enabling structures for Metro projects. The role focuses on design, construction methodology, and coordination with fabrication and project execution teams. Candidates must possess strong knowledge in metro construction engineering, precast systems, and erection methods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Engineering

• Design steel enabling structures for Metro projects (underground & elevated).
• Prepare designs for TBM facilities enabling structures.
• Structural design of struts, walers, traffic decking & temporary works.
• Formwork design for underground and elevated metro stations.
• Design mould shutters for I-girders, U-girders, pier caps, and viaduct structures.
• Design launching girders for precast element erection.
• Prepare shortline & longline mould designs for precast box-girder segment casting.
• Design enabling structures for full-span precast box-girder erection.

2. Construction Methodology

• Develop construction methods for Metro execution (underground & elevated corridors).
• Execute modular construction methods for metro & infrastructure projects.
• Prepare erection schemes for elevated viaduct structures.
• Support precast element erection and associated temporary works.

3. Coordination & Execution Support

• Coordinate with fabrication agencies for enabling structure development.
• Provide engineering support to project sites for smooth implementation.
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure design accuracy & safety compliance.
