🌟 About the Role
Sun Pharma is seeking an experienced biotechnology professional to lead downstream operations in the Biological Drug Substance Unit. This leadership role supports development, scale-up, and GMP production of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies.
🔹 Key Responsibilities (Short & Relevant)
- Lead and manage downstream processing activities for recombinant proteins & mAbs.
- Oversee process development, scale-up, and GMP production operations.
- Operate and manage chromatography, TFF, filtration, and purification systems.
- Interpret analytical and process data for scientific decision-making.
- Develop SOPs, BMRs, technical reports, and investigation documents.
- Guide and mentor junior scientists in downstream processing.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety guidelines, and documentation standards.
🎓 Job Requirements
Education:
M.Tech / M.Sc / PhD in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biochemical Engineering.
Experience:
12–15 years in downstream processing of biologics (proteins / mAbs).
