Job Responsibilities

• Implement Turnaround/Shutdown planning system at site in line with Reliance philosophy
• Review/Audit Annual and 4-Week Planning System at all Plants
• Prepare Annual and multi-year Shutdown Plans for the Plant and Site
• Conduct/support long-term and detailed planning for single/multiple plant shutdowns and turnarounds
• Plan and coordinate pre-shutdown, shutdown, and post-shutdown meetings
• Liaise with internal/external agencies for shutdown resources and other requirements
• Support Central Planning Head in coordination with other sites/COE for shutdown requirements
• Allocate and optimize common resources across plants
• Prepare detailed job/resource/budget planning and schedules; optimize shutdown timelines and costs
• Prepare/issue Shutdown Manuals and Schedules
• Track shutdown resource procurement/acquisition and mobilization
• Monitor, control, and report shutdown progress
• Ensure proper closure of shutdowns with delay/gain analysis, prepare closure reports and learnings
• Track post-shutdown actions until closure
• Periodically review and optimize planning performance across plants
• Coordinate with materials and plants for inventory management
• Prepare MIS reports and monitor KPIs related to REAM and shutdown management
• Coordinate and compile site E&M annual planning and budgeting
• Perform power user role for SAP Equipment Master & Planned Maintenance modules
• Manage/resolve common issues related to materials and contract management

Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

Experience Requirement

• 6–9 years total experience
• Minimum 3–5 years in maintenance/planning including shutdown planning
• Strong knowledge of SAP-PM, MS Project, Primavera
• Familiar with SAP-MM

• Knowledge of HSEF and REAM procedures
