The position focuses on designing, developing, and validating high-quality networking products while collaborating closely with R&D and product management teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

πŸ› οΈ Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop manual and automated test cases for networking switches and ASIC features
  • Analyze feature impacts, identify test scenarios, and prepare structured test execution plans
  • Test end-to-end solutions involving integration of multiple networking products
  • Incorporate insights from real-world customer deployments into feature validation
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and Product Management teams to ensure high-quality releases
  • Support continuous improvement in testing processes and solution reliability

🎯 Skills & Experience Required

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in networking or system validation
  • Strong L2/L3 networking knowledge with hands-on experience in SNMP / Netconf
  • Experience in test automation using Python and/or Robot Framework
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments

Preferred / Added Advantage:

  • Experience with fixed broadband technologies (DSL / PON)
  • Knowledge of OSGI, Microservices, Kubernetes, SDN/NFV
  • Experience in test design, testbed setup, execution, and reporting
  • Networking equipment validation (port bring-up, transceiver handling, etc.)
  • Exposure to functional, regression, and non-functional testing
  • Familiarity with IDEs, automation frameworks, defect tracking tools, and version control systems
