📌 Job Overview

Nokia is hiring a GRC L3 Expert for its Managed Security Services (MSS) organization in India. This role is critical in ensuring that telecom security operations align with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management strategies.

As a senior GRC professional, you will act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for telecom infrastructure compliance, strengthening security posture, audit readiness, and continuous regulatory compliance across complex network environments.

🔐 Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary GRC SME for telecom infrastructure, covering RAN, Core, Transport, IN, IMS, Cloud, and NFV environments.
• Lead and execute telecom security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Define and mature telecom-specific GRC processes, including assurance models, compliance scorecards, and audit readiness frameworks.
• Manage internal and external audits such as DoT, TRAI, CERT-In, ISO 27001/27011, and CAG, ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Perform control validation, evidence review, gap analysis, and remediation planning for audit observations.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), including:
  • Data fiduciary obligations
  • Privacy-by-design principles
  • PD-RAs and DPIAs
• Validate the effectiveness of security controls across RAN, vRAN, O-RAN, Core, Cloud, and virtualized environments.
• Drive compliance and review change management activities across Network Operations, RF, Core Engineering, Cloud Ops, and IT Security teams.
• Own and maintain security policies, risk registers, audit trackers, and provide management-level risk and compliance reporting.

🎓 Skills & Experience

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
• 5+ years specifically within Telecom or Managed Security Services (MSS)
• Strong technical knowledge of telecom infrastructure: MPLS, 5G, IoT, SDN/NFV
• Hands-on understanding of security technologies such as Firewalls, SIEM, and encryption
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Telecommunication Engineering
• Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills
• Proven ability to translate technical risks into business impact for senior leadership

• Certifications: CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification
