📌 Job Overview

Tech Mahindra is hiring an experienced Tech Lead / Functional Architect for its IT operations in Chennai.
The role focuses on enterprise architecture, application design, and system integration, working closely with business and technology teams to design and implement scalable solutions that support internal and external customers.

This position is ideal for professionals with strong exposure to large, complex systems, business process analysis, and application landscapes involving .NET and Mainframe (COBOL) technologies.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage enterprise applications within the department
• Analyze business needs and translate them into effective system architectures
• Identify improvements within and across applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new systems or enhance existing ones
• Guide implementation of new systems, applications, and processes
• Maintain a holistic view of product integrations and application dependencies
• Work with both .NET and Mainframe (COBOL) application environments
• Stay updated with industry developments and recommend system improvements

🎓 Eligibility & Requirements

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Experience:

• Total Experience: 5 to 10 years
• Proven experience in system design and implementation
• Exposure to large-scale, complex enterprise systems

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of business processes
• Broad knowledge of technologies (not purely technical specialist role)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Interest in Payroll & HR systems is an added advantage
