Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is seeking an Engineer Maintenance Electrical – JMD SEZ VGO HT for its Jamnagar facility. The role focuses on executing and supervising electrical maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, planning shutdown jobs, and supporting minor projects to ensure operational reliability and safety.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Execute electrical maintenance tasks with quality and adherence to planning.
• Review maintenance activities and prioritize critical jobs.
• Carry out scheduled and chance-based maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and best practices (QMS, EMS).
• Conduct regular troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Facilitate and support minor electrical projects.
• Maintain HSEF compliance and mandatory trainings.
• Analyse electrical maintenance costs and assist with budgeting.
• Assist Manager in spares inventory management and issuance.
• Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and stores for electrical spares.
• Assist in shutdown planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare audit-related documentation.
• Participate in reliability and integrity studies.
• Monitor and report maintenance performance metrics.
• Provide technical guidance and training to subordinates.

🎓 Educational Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic / Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering is required.

Experience

• 2 years’ experience in electrical maintenance or a related industrial environment.

• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Self-initiative and proactive approach to tasks.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good technical background and commitment to safety.
