Job Description – Senior Engineer QA/QC (Piping)

NBTC Group, a leading EPC and industrial engineering firm in Kuwait, is hiring Senior Engineers – QA/QC (Piping) for oil & gas and turnaround projects.

The role focuses on ensuring quality and compliance in piping fabrication, welding inspection, hydrotesting, and mechanical completion, while supporting test package development and overall QA/QC standards. Candidates with experience in major clients like ADNOC, ARAMCO, PDO are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for piping in EPC projects and turnaround works
• Supervise piping fabrication and welding inspections
• Monitor hydrotesting and mechanical completion processes
• Develop, review, and execute test packages
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and standards
• Prepare QA/QC reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and inspection documentation
• Coordinate with site teams, client representatives, and third-party inspectors
• Ensure adherence to company quality management systems and ISO standards

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)

Certifications (Preferred)

• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
• CSWIP / AWS-CWI
• ASNT Level II

Experience

• 12–15 years in QA/QC for piping within Oil & Gas / EPC projects
• Prior experience with ADNOC, ARAMCO, PDO highly valued

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of piping fabrication and welding inspection
• Experience with hydrotesting and mechanical completion
• Test package development and QA documentation
• Ability to enforce quality standards and inspection procedures
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
