Job Description – Business Development Manager (FTL Sales)

Ritco Logistics Limited is hiring Business Development Managers at GM Level to drive FTL sales growth and business expansion across multiple locations in India. The role involves new business acquisition, executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring profitable logistics operations.

This is a senior leadership role for professionals with strong exposure to FTL logistics sales and customer management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
• Represent the company to prospective and existing customers
• Ensure smooth end-to-end sales operations
• Manage and strengthen customer relationships
• Monitor vehicle placement in coordination with operations teams
• Finalize lane-wise freight rates with operations
• Interact with customers for rate approvals and purchase orders (POs)
• Coordinate customer indents for FTL requirements
• Track payment follow-ups and outstanding receivables
• Work strictly as per company systems and SOPs

Eligibility Criteria

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in FTL sales with logistics companies is mandatory

Qualification

• Graduate or Post Graduate degree required

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in FTL logistics sales
• Customer relationship management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Sales planning and execution
• Problem-solving and result-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of logistics operations and rate management
